<h2>Synopsis</h2> <p>Danzan Las Luciérnagas (Dancing Fireflies) is a short film centered on Keke, a trans knowledge keeper from Cali 4021, who faces a heartbreaking decision after being accepted as a biologist for the second wave of exomigration to Mars. Torn between space and love, she questions whether she has the courage to leave Earth and, with it, Ori, Yan, and Sher, the three loves of her life.</p> <h2>About the Director</h2> <p>Eleggua Luna Laverde (also known as mojana) is a multidisciplinary Afro-Caribbean, transgender artist, director, and curator. Originally from the Bazurto Market area in Cartagena de Indias, Colombia, they are highly active in international queer cinema and intersectional feminist spaces, frequently collaborating with collectives across Latin America and Europe.</p>
