<p><em>La berceuse de Broadway</em> is based on a twelve-minute film in which the artist appropriated and altered a scene from a subtitled version of the Busby Berkeley musical “Gold Diggers of 1935.” In the book, the “found” image and text combinations of the film stills tell their own story.</p>
