<p><em>In German</em></p> <p>In this episode, listen to Otto Kapfinger, architect, curator, architectural historian, and keen observer and commentator on the built environment, in conversation with architect Claudia Cavallar. Kapfinger has been a member of the Secession since the mid-1970s and, together with Adolf Krischanitz and Oskar Putz, was responsible for the comprehensive refurbishment of the building in the mid-1980s. In this lively conversation, Kapfinger shares his almost encyclopaedic knowledge of architecture, urban planning, the visual arts, photography, and cultural politics — not only in relation to fin-de-siècle Vienna, but also from the perspective of an active practitioner.</p> <p>This episode was recorded on 17 October 2025 at the Secession.</p>
