Scratching the Surface: Craig Mod
<p>Craig Mod is a writer, photographer, and designer based in Japan. He’s written extensively about books, publishing, walking, and technology for <em>The New Yorker</em>, <em>The Atlantic</em>, and <em>Medium</em>. He also publishes two newsletters, <em>Roden</em> and <em>Ridgeline</em>, and hosts <em>On Margins</em>, a podcast about making books. In this episode, Jarrett and Craig talk about his background as a designer and programmer, the evolution of his own writing and where he’d like to take it, and taking the longview in all of his work.</p>
