The Pirate
<p>In Berlin in the spring of 1998 I found a small leatherbound notebook at the flea market in Tiergarten. The notebook, from 1957, contains the stories, poems and jokes of a thirteen year old named Hellmuth Puhlman. The project, <em>The Pirate</em> is based on a translation of the longest story, <em>Der Pirat</em>.</p>
