Emerging Habitats: Design as a Worldmaking Agent
<p><em>Temes de Disseny</em> #39 explores diverse approaches to the role of design in our interactions with urban and rural ecosystems.</p> <p>The guest editors are pleased to present a carefully chosen selection of articles that address this challenge and focus on six fundamental themes: Worldmaking; Transition Design; Social Innovation; Equity and Empowerment; the Material Relations of Human Habitats; and the Agency of Non-Human Actors.</p> <p>We hope that this issue contributes to reflection on the current and future contributions of design as a worldmaking agent.</p>
